Frequently Asked Questions

Cut Flower Care/Orchid Care/Dish Garden strong>

What happens if the flowers are delivered and no one is home?

If the recipient is not at home for the first delivery attempt, we will either leave a phone message or a tag on the door so that the recipient can call us to arrange a delivery time when they are at home. Don’t worry, we don’t leave the flowers on the doorstep!

Will my arrangement look exactly like the picture on the website?

Each arrangement is unique: a work of art made with the freshest flowers at that moment. (If owner and designer, Art, makes an arrangement, it’s a true “work of Art”.) Occasionally it is necessary to substitute flowers due to availability in different seasons. We try our best to keep the shape and general colour scheme of the item you have chosen.

How long should my flowers last?

Different flowers have different longevity. Some that we find last the longest are daisies, carnations, and alstroemeria. Proper care such as fresh water, giving the stems a fresh cut every two to three days, and keeping your flowers in a cool place can make quite a difference in flower life.

Why should I send flowers to a funeral service?

To put it simply, flowers provide comfort when words are not enough. While a monetary donation is a worthy tribute, there is really no substitute for beautiful flowers at a sympathy service. Flowers comfort the living as they commemorate the lives of the deceased. Flowers feed compassion and chase away anxiety and worries, providing a tangible way for people to show their concern for the bereaved.
